The only thing you have to do here is add some gravy...

It won "Pastry of the Year"! I think I owe a congratulations to my Cooking partner Dagromm and I think the world owes me a ton of money for bringing this magic to their mouths.

Big Texas Ramen Noodles

Step 1:
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once the water achieves a rolling boil add the noodles from the packet of Ramen saving the flavor packet for later. Let them boil for 3 minutes stirring occasionally.

Step 2:
Once the noodles are cooked strain the water off of them and put them in a bowl.

Step 3:
In a 6 quart saucepan add 1 pound of velveeta cheese cubed and let it melt on low. Once it is melted go ahead and add 1-2 cans of Wolf Brand chili. Stir until blended.

Step 4:
Pour the cheese/chili mixture to the ramen and then poor the flavor packet over the top and stir furiously.

There you have it Big Texas Noodle Bowl!!!!

This Blog's First Post!!!

Welcome world to the Big Texas Recipe Blog and the initial post. This blog has developed as a result of multiple conversations between myself and Q about some of our favorite recipes. Q and myself are notorious foodies and especially love the great cuisine from the NoTex region of America. NoTex is widely recognized as the Haute Cuisine Capital of the World and we felt it was our duty to share some of our favorite dishes.

So with out further delay I present the first installment:

Texas Stir Fry

Step One
Make a basic stir fry recipe like this one.

Step Two
In a cast iron skillet make some white gravy. For those that don't know. Boiling water, flour, salt, pepper, etc.

Step Three
Grands Biscuits. Cook them.

Step Four
Plate the biscuits (opened). Spread stir fry on the biscuits. Cover in gravy. Salt to taste. Garnish with a small replica oil well.

Step Five
Enjoy

So that's recipe number one. I hope that between Q and I we can share many more recipes over the coming months.
